South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic


The Tahoe Keys Marina and Yacht Club in South Lake Tahoe welcomed the South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic http://www.tahoewoodenboats.com/ hosted by the Northern CA/Lake Tahoe Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society on July 30th-31st. South Lake Tahoe was the perfect backdrop to display 72 antique and classic boat. They also honored the Thunderbird's 70th year on Lake Tahoe (see pictures below). Over 2,200 people walked the docks to admire the breathe taking display of wooden boats. The proceeds from the weekend went to City of South Lake Tahoe Fire Department, Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe and the Thunderbird Lodge Preservation Society. 2010 LA Roadster Show & Swap

On Father's Day weekend for the last 46 years the LA Roadsters plans and opporates the largest roadster show and swap meet in Southern California. 800 pre-36 roadsters and 1,500 pre-72 specialty cars congregated at the Pomona Fairplex last weekend. The sun came out in full force to welcome people from all over the world who would never miss this show. There is something for everyone at the LA Roadster Show featuring a '35 & '36 hot rod corral, cacklefest, builder showcase, this year Dave Bell a.k.a. Henry Hi-Rise, pin stripers circus and more.
