The cruise-in event started with brief rain showers, but ended with clear skys and plenty of gorgeous classic cars!
The members of the Wilkes County Cruisers club organize the cruise-in event the second Saturday of the month in downtown North Wilkesboro. The photo represents only one street of the four, which were filled with classic ranging from antiques, street rods, newer collectables and
vintage motorcycles.
The event host music from Uptunes DJ Services on the corner of 9th and C Streets. While walking through the streets you'll witness a vintage ice-cream machine ready to service home made ice-cream! The event had a 50/50 drawing and a food court for hungry enthusiasts.
Classics were still rumbling into the event at 7:00 to enjoy the family filled atmosphere. There were a couple classic cars with rain drops still on the hood after the brief down poor, but the rain didn't spoil excitement of the anticipated monthly event. These are dedicated cruisers! If you're looking for a family enriched atmosphere which welcomes all year, make and model classics then this event is for you!
