The week in Monterey always starts for me when I wake up Thursday morning to participate in the annual Pebble Beach Tour d' Elegance. The Hagerty crew was wide awake as we assembled at our hotel. It's our distinct pleasure to host coffee and doughnuts for all of the tour entrants and the staff that supports the event. This year the morning weather was in our favor with only a light fog that created a wonderful backdrop to set off the beautiful paint work on the arriving show cars. The tour is a 50 mile tour through the city of Monterey and then along the Pacific Coast Highway down to Big Sur and then back to Carmel for lunch. From an enthusiasts perspective, the morning of the tour is the best time to see the Concours cars before Sunday!
