Avon Walk for Breast Cancer - Get Your Walking Shoes On!!!

I have accepted the challenge again this year and I am participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Long Beach, CA. This is a 2 day event where thousands of people take extraordinary steps to walk as one for 39 miles to help fight breast cancer here at home and throughout the country.

My team, "Breast Friends Forever" will walk in honor and memory of many loved ones who have fought this disease. During the walk you are next to women that are fighting for their lives, survivors, families that have lost a mother, wife or sister to this disease and we all know we are making a difference. The money raised goes towards medical research into the possible causes of and cure for breast cancer, education and early detection programs, and clinical care and support services for women with breast cancer in communities across the country.
