LeMay Museum Groundbreaking June 2010

On June 10, 2010, history was made and dreams of this vision became a reality. Hundreds gathered at the soon-to-be new location of the LeMay Museum in Tacoma, WA next to the Tacoma Dome for the groundbreaking ceremony. Touching speeches were given by Nancy LeMay, President and CEO of the LeMay Museum David Madeira, and WA State Governor Christine Gregoire. Members of Harold and Nancy LeMay's family were present to celebrate the occasion, as well as many, many others who have worked hard over the years to support and even sponsor the museum.
Hagerty support was on the scene! From left to right: Liz Holdeman, Nigel Matthews, myself and Norm Lee.
First to break ground and dig into the earth included Nancy LeMay, WA State Governor Christine Gregoire and Mayor of Tacoma Marilyn Strickland, among others.
Hagerty's own Norm Lee (middle, in blue) didn't miss out on the opportunity to help break ground! Way to go! Shown with Norm are other LeMay Museum sponsors and members of the board, including Scot Keller and David Madeira.

Hagerty is a proud sponsor of the LeMay Museum. Please check out www.lemaymuseum.org for more information and ways you can get involved. Thanks for your support!
