Tonight I attended the Luxury Marketing Council at Crevier Classic Car Company. This is a monthly networking mixer in Orange County. The topic for the evening was the state of the luxury automobile industry. They had a panel of four speakers: John C. Driscoll the VP/Publisher of Road & Track/Car and Driver, James Clark the GM of Crevier Classic Car Co., Charlie Vogelheim formerly with JD Power and Kelley Blue Book, and Al Parajeckas the GM of Crevier BMW. The men on the panel were all very knowledgeable of the automotive industry and the predictions/trends of the future.
Charlie read list on “who owns who” in the automotive industry. I had no idea that Volkswagen owns so many luxury car companies: Audi, Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini.
