CCCA - Grand Classic in San Marino

Saturday I spent a the day with the CCCA www.socalccca.org/index.html at the exclusive Lacy Park in San Marino for their Grand Classic and that it was! This park is the city's best kept secret; it is absolutely beautiful. The Grand Classic was the first Concours held at this park. I think it is safe to say that it won't be the last. The open field was covered with amazing pre-war Packards, Auburns, Lincolns, and much more. I am a complete classics fan, so I was in heaven! The CCCA and the city of San Marino did a great job making the Grand Classic a success and I hope to be apart of it next year.
The park was the perfect setting.

A few of the beautiful cars that supported the event.

My pick for best in show. It is a Buick but I have no idea the year.
Can anyone tell what year that is?

1932 Plymouth Town Car by Brewster. It was used by Franklin D. Roosevelt.
I love the history behind all of these cars.

1936 Auburn Speedster. This is a beautiful car.

I like when cars have the exhaust on the outside. It looks super sweet!

1937 Lincoln Sport Sedan. This is one of a kind.

1937 Packard Coupe Roadster

1928 Packard DW Phaeton

The much needed shade for the event. It was a very hot day.

Check out the rest of my pictures below
