Saturdays in Socal

Wake-up call on Saturday, August 8th 4:30am. Destination Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach and Early Rodders in La Cañada. My partner in crime and fellow car enthusiast is John Gilbert, Editor of Custom Classic Trucks http://www.customclassictrucks.com/.
Donut Derelicts is a weekly gathering in Huntington Beach. If you sleep in until 7:30am you most likely missed it. This unorganized show has been going on for the last 25 years and has an international following. Check out my early morning pictures. These were all taken around 5:30am, sorry they are so dark.

All lined up in their favorite spots

This is for sale!! I want it. Can you imagine how good the Hagerty logos would look on that?

Early Rodders in La Cañada allows for a later wake-up call since the show is from 7-9am. This is a gathering that has been going on for a few years now. If this is in your neighborhood stop by and check it out. It is in the United Artist parking lot on Verdugo Rd. They pull in a good mix of new and vintage vehicles.

Don't get caught in the handicap for too long. The police came through to make sure each car had a pass.

This is a beautiful Sportsman!

This is the inside of the Mustang above. I have never seen headrests like this....very interesting. I am still not sure how I feel about them.

A Hot Rod Ferrari 360 named Quick Bastard. I think that sums it up.
